Lodi

Lodi borough encompasses a 2.28-square-mile section of Bergen County, approximately 8 miles west of New York City.  Its population of 24,134 as of the 2010 U. S. Census has been relatively stable since the 2000 Census. The borough is a mature suburb of New York City, mostly residential, with a modest commercial base.

An interesting fact about Lodi, and one of the community's claim to fame is that The Satin Dolls Go-Go Bar in Lodi was used as the filming location for the fictional Bada Bing Bar in the HBO drama television series The Sopranos.  Lodi High School and various stores in the borough were also used as filming locations.

Garibaldi Avenue Park, Kennedy Park, Voto-Tedesco Field, Lodi Little League, and Memorial Park offer a variety of recreational opportunities for Lodi residents.  Lighted softball, football, soccer and baseball fields, tennis, volleyball, basketball and miniature golf are offered at the various facilities, including special programs such as day camps, sports camps, concerts, parades and a plethora of activities for young and old.

The Lodi Public Schools includes five elementary schools — Columbus Elementary, Hilltop Elementary, Roosevelt Elementary, Washington Elementary and Wilson Elementary.  Thomas Jefferson Middle School serves students in grades 6-8 and Lodi High School students are in grades 9-12.  Students can also attend Bergen County Technical Schools, which include the Bergen County Academies in Hackensack, and the Bergen Tech campus in Teterboro or Paramus.
