Hsbrouck Heights NJ Christmas Decorating Contest!

Christmas Decoration Judging December 18 - 21 The Hasbrouck Heights Mayor’s Committee on Community Celebrations will be holding its annual judging of Christmas House and Commercial Decorations on Friday through Sunday, December 18, 19, and 20, 2015, with the finals on Monday, December 21. Multiple categories will be judged. The Committee asks that all residents keep their decorations lit and aptly shown from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. on those evenings so that all displays may be properly evaluated. It is also requested that your address be made vis- ible to the judging members. Winners will be posted at The Hasbrouck Heights Free Public Library and will ap- pear in a future issue of The Observer. Any new inductees into the Hall of Fame will also be announced at that time.

Holiday Dance with Peter Lieberman December 13 Come dressed i n you r holiday best on Sunday, December 13, 2015, when The Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 4591 in Hasbrouck Heights will host a Holiday Dance with Peter Lieberman from 1 to 4 p.m. Cost is $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Admission includes a hot lunch, dessert, coffee/tea. There will be a mini-Tricky Tray and 50/50. Call Debbie at 201-866- 4854 for more information, reserve a seat or table. he Annual Holiday Party, sponsored by the Leisure Club, open to all Heights seniors, is scheduled for Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at the Fiesta, from noon to 4 p.m. Tickets are $35 pp for members and $40 pp for non-menbers.
