Wood-Ridge is a small borough of only one square mile located in southern Bergen County, New Jersey, approximately 10 miles northwest of Midtown Manhattan.
Wood-Ridge is served by New Jersey Transit at the Wood-Ridge Train Station and by several New Jersey Transit bus routes. Ostrovsky Middle School, and Wood-Ridge High School. Students from Moonachie also attend Wood-Ridge High School as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Moonachie School District. Students are also eligible to attend the secondary education programs offered by the Bergen County Technical Schools, which include the Bergen County Academies in Hackensack, and the Bergen Tech campus in Teterboro or Paramus.
