Carol Ann Dalessandro, formerly Carol Romeo, joins Century 21 Semiao & Associates with more than 25 years of expertise creating, managing and executing award-winning marketing programs for some of the most successful brands in the world. A true marketing communications expert focused on the ultimate sale or purchase, Carol applies her keen understanding of technology, traditional marketing, online marketing, social media, advertising and grassroots networking to her real estate business, giving her clients an approach that stands out from the crowd. Carol takes the time upfront to truly listen to her clients, understand their real estate goals and gives them a thorough understanding of the current real estate climate and how they can achieve success as a seller or buyer. She then creates and manages a customized plan and tactics unique to each seller or buyer that will best achieve their shared goal -- a successful closing.
The cornerstone to Carol’s success in business throughout the years has always been her dedication to her clients, professionalism, attention to the details and tireless work ethic. No task is too small or too great for Carol to tackle for her clients. Honesty, integrity and knowledge are the core values that she lives by and brings to every real estate transaction that she is involved in. Although Carol is new to the Real Estate Business, she has her At Home with Diversity® (AHWD®) certification and earned more than 70 continuing education credits on various real estate issues and techniques.
Carol, 2019 Secretary of the Women’s Council of Realtors, has been a resident of Bergen County most of her life and has worked in Bergen County for the past 18 years. She is an invaluable resource for sellers and buyers and supports the local community. Carol was a co-owner of The Leader Newspapers, one of the oldest weekly newspaper chains and only solely women-owned newspapers in New Jersey. The Leader covered southern Bergen County. Presently, she is Recording Secretary of The Woman’s Club of Carlstadt and an active member of the Woman’s Club of Rutherford and the St. Joseph’s Rosary Alter Society.
When asked to identify her most rewarding business experience, Carol remembers her role in spearheading the publicity effort for the famous "M&M ̈ Chocolate Candies Color Campaign that gave birth to the famous Blue M&M and won the prestigious Silver Anvil Award, Brammy Award and Big Apple Award, among its many accolades. Carol was named one of the "40 Under 40" most successful business leaders in New Jersey by Business News New Jersey and honored by NJ Tech News for tech marketing excellence.
Carol began her real estate career with Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty. Prior to real estate, Carol owned a marketing consulting company and was a founding partner of The CBK Group Advertising and PR in Paramus, NJ. She spent more than 15 years of her career in New York City as a Vice President at Grey Advertising's PR subsidiary, GCI Group, Inc.; and VP/Director of Public Relations at Warner, Bicking, Morris & Partners. Prior to forming The CBK Group, Carol established the PR division of Keyes Martin Advertising in East Hanover, NJ and served as Group President.
