A night of Frank Sinatra in Hasbrouck Heights NJ

You are cordially invited to join in “A Night with the Music of Frank Sinatra” on Saturday, November 21, 2015. The night of dancing to the music of the 40s, 50s and 60s is a celebration of Frank Sinatra’s 100th birthday. The fun will take place at the Corpus Christi School Gymnasium in Hasbrouck Heights from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person. Bring your own food and drinks if you wish. The Hasbrouck Heights Pizzeria and the Costa Memorial Home are sponsoring the dance. All proceeds will be going toward the Assumption/ Corpus Christi Teen Ministry’s 2016 Retreat.

Frank Sinatra was undeniably one of the most beloved musical figures of the 20th century. Old Blue Eyes or the Chairman of the Board can long be remembers for such great hits as “Night and Day,” “All or Nothing at All,” “Five Minutes More,” “Learnin’ the Blues,” “All the Way,” “Strangers in the Night,” and his signature song “ My Way.” Put on your dancing shoes, get your friends together and join in the celebration while helping a great cause. Hasbrouck Heights NJ Food Pantry Needs Your Help

The Hasbrouck Heights Food Pantry is once again in desperate need of supplies and is calling upon the community once again for its generosity in helping to restock the shelves. Donations could be any grocery items including but not limited to canned soups, fruits, vegetables and meats, juices, tuna fish, cereals, sauces and gravies, coffee, tea, sugar, flour, powdered milk, all types of toiletries, paper products or cleaning products. The pantry is stocked with a large abundance of all kinds of pasta and therefore requests that such items not be donated at this time. All items may be dropped off at the Borough Clerk's office on the first floor of between the hours of 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The food pantry is located on the lower level of Borough Hall and helps dozens of residents in need each month.

The shelves are a little sparse and the Hasbrouck Heights Food Pantry welcomes donations. Needed items in- clude: beans, canned fruit, juices, pasta sauce, gravies, paper products, all kinds of soaps and cleaning products, shampoo, toiletries, jelly, coffee, tea , cereal, powdered milk , crackers, cookies and snacks. The Food Bank is supported by food drives held at the Churches, schools, the Scouts, The Library and special programs, the monetary donations that buy food store gift cards and those who drop off bags of groceries at the Borough Clerk’s Ofice. The 15-20 families who need help are very fortunate to be able to have a place to come if needed. Borough Clerk Rose Marie Sees said, “A great big thank you for your generosity.
