Knights Annual Father’s Day Breakfast June 19 Wood Ridge NJ

On Father’s Day, June 19, 2016, the St. Anthony Council Knights of Columbus from Wood-Ridge will be holding their 9th Annual Father’s Day Communion Breakfast. Members of the Knights of Columbus, their friends and families, will attend the 9:30 a.m. Mass at the Assumption Church. The breakfast will take place at the Fiesta following the Mass. Tickets are $18 per adult and $16 for children 9 and under. For tickets, contact a member of the Wood-Ridge Knights of Columbus.

Wood Ridge NJ Memorial Day Services

The Wood Ridge Fire Department will hold their Memorial Services on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at 7 p.m., at Fire Headquarters. On May 30, an 8 a.m. Mass will be said at Assumption Church. Veterans services will begin at the Walk of Freedom at the Senior Center at 10 a.m., with the parade following at 11:30 a.m. at the Veterans Walk of Freedom. The parade will step off from the corner of Hackensack Street and Highland Avenue (Senior Center) and head South on Hackensack Street to Union Avenue heading west to Valley Boulevard. The parade procession continue north and will end at Windsor Road. Free flags and novelties will be distributed along the parade route. The conclusion of the parade will take place at Veterans Park where festivities will include refreshments (hot dogs & ice cream), strolling musicians, military vehicle rides and involvement from many local merchants.
