Our prime mission is to maintain services to keep our visitors free from hunger. We work hard to maintain each individual’s dignity by offering choices for personal needs as well. As of this date, we have 174 households registered for pantry services. This totals 365 persons. In addition to the usual requests for food and personal hygiene products, we will be collecting new things such as:

Umbrellas Wallets Children’s coloring books Crayons Body lotions and powders Shampoo and Conditioner Clothing cannot be accepted

The pantry is located in the basement of The Rutherford Borough Hall, 176 Park Avenue, Rutherford, NJ 07070. (201) 460-3000 x3168

Hours of Service Monday 2:00pm – 4:00pm Wednesday 5:00pm – 7:00pm Thursday 2:00pm – 4:00pm

Rutherford Community Chest Seeks Donations

The 69th Annual Drive of the Community Chest of Rutherford which supports local non-profit organizations began in October. The Rutherford Boy and Girl Scouts, Rutherford Food Pantry, Rutherford Social Services, The Meadowlands Museum, Bridge Builder and Star Fish of Rutherford all currently benefit.
