The Wood-Ridge Lions Club will be holding their annual golf outing on Monday, May 2, 2016 at The Farmstead Golf Course. Cost is $145 per golfer. Registration includes continental breakfast, lunch, greens fees, cart and souvenir gift. Concert April 29
to Benefit AHOF
On Friday, April 29, 2016, Bergen Tech HS will perform their 11th annual benefit concert “Sounds For Hope 11” from 6 to 10 p.m. at the BT Auditorium, 504 Route 46 West (across from Teterboro Airport.)
Accomplished students and teachers are scheduled to play a 30 song set of rock, R&B and hip-hop songs. The event will benefit the NJ Aviation Hall of Fame and Museum.

Rutherford NJ Tree Planting Day

Description
Residents are invited to help make sure various areas around our borough are nice and clean during Rutherford’s second annual Clean Up Day. Residents may volunteer at sites such as the Train Station, Williams Center Plaza, Memorial Park Leisure Lane and the Ettrick Terrace Parking Lot.

Participants must sign-in at Borough Hall at 9 a.m. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Participants will be welcomed and then divide into groups.

At 11:30 a.m., there will be a tree planting ceremony at Union School. This year, the tree will be planted in honor of of Board of Education Board Member, Thom Casadonte, and Arbor Day (which is April 29).
